“La Gana” is a mythical figure from the legends of the Dolomites and Val Badia. This wild creature lived among the rocks and in the woods and fed on what nature offered in the high mountains. Away from civilization, “La Gana” led a simple life in seclusion. Only rarely this creature went down to the farmhouses in the valley to find some company and a few bites to eat during the winter months.
The philosophy of the Restaurant La Gana is based exactly on this legend, where we conjure true gourmet dishes from the abundance of the mountains.
Our chef, Giuseppe Gravela, will take you on a culinary journey through our region, using seasonal and fresh products from the Alps. His talent for perfectly highlighting the uniqueness of each individual ingredient allows nature to have its say in every dish.

The Bistrot La Gana is open from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a simple, quick, and high-quality lunch. In the evening fthe restaurant is open from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for an elegant dinner of excellent gourmet dishes, prepared and presented with skill and passion (The Restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday - excluding high season periods).
